Area of Falkland Islands known as Irishman's Point dating back to Ireland's great famine in the 1800's when Irish people en route to Argentina after being refused entry to New York were dropped off at this point at the Falklands while Argentinian customs decided which people entered the country and which couldn't. ie - thieves, people with diseases and so on.
