The Queen Elizabeth II Bridge and tunnel
The tunnel (built first) is to the west of the bridge.
The tunnel is actually a twin bore construction, with both carriageways (and tunnels) now being used for northbound traffic. The bridge is (normally) used solely for south bound traffic.
Toll booths for both bridge and tunnel are on the S side of the crossing.

  • The Dartford Crossing is a gap in the M25: the only part of it that is an A-Road and not a motorway. This allows traffic not normally allowed on motorways to use it.
