The area of the Alberdaheerd contains the remains of a medieval, possibly a 13th century castle (borg). The archaeological parts are about 30cm deep. The castle existed in proven period of ca. 1450-1768. The area is surrounded by canals and is separated in two parts, the southern part has the remains of the castle, on which a farm is build.
