Duck Island - Isles of Shoals

Low lying rocky island inhabited mainly by harbor seals. Protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act. Seals should be observed but not harassed. Normally shy but curious, they may reward a patient diver with an up close visit. Diving for lobster while in Maine and New Hampshire waters is not allowed.
