Second World War 1939-1945, United States Army, historic ruins
One of 15 temporary camps built as part of General Patton's Desert Training Center, the site has been obliterated by agriculture. The camps were built in 1943 and considered surplus in 1944 after the men were trained and sent to Africa to fight. Over a million men were trained at the DTC. There are some rock outlines where tents were located.
