Thirty five acre park beside Highway 401, features picnic tables, a large pond and natural wildlife habitat. Originally the site of a tile yard, interest in developing the property as a park started in 1972 when the Legion planned to relocate their clubhouse. Taken over by the Lower Thames River Conservation Authority in 1979 the park is a nice place for a walk or a picnic. The park also contains the Forbes Dashwheel, an historic drainage device used in the drainage of over 5,000 acres of East Tilbury Township farmland.

  • Northside Park is a great place to go when you want somewhere to escape. Not exactly ideal to swim in however.
