Former site of the legendary Del Mar Skate Ranch. Built in August 1978, it was home to many of the greatest skateboarders of the 80's. This list includes Tony Hawk, Mark Regowski, Ken Park, Neil Blender, Billy Ruff, and Mike McGill to name just a few. In July 1987, the park was closed and demolished by its owners, leaving San Diego without a skate park for most of the 90's.
