Cap's Place is a historic seafood restaurant in Lighthouse Point, Florida. It is located at 2980 Northeast 31st Avenue. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1990. Opened 1928 (i.e. during Prohibition) as Club Unique, the original building was built onto a beached dredging barge. It is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Broward County.
Located on a private road with little room for parking, the directions to it given on their Web site are actually to a dock across the waterway (see separate tag), where their boats take customers to the restaurant.
