This is the Amandelbult Mining Right for the Tumela Platinum Mine which accesses both the Meresnky and UG2 reefs and it is 100% owned and managed by Anglo American Platinum. On October 11, 2016 Anglo American Platinum and Northam Platinum Limited announced an agreement where Northam would purchase long dated resources of the current in the Amandelbult mining right from Anglo that are contiguous with the western side of the Zondereinde mining right. On August 25, 2017 Northam announced that the Minister of Mineral Resources had approved the transfer in terms of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, and the transfer of this portion was executed on December 6, 2017. Northam is also acquiring part of the Elandsfontein 386 KQ farm overlying part of Amandelbult in exchange for a portion of the Zondereinde mining right.

  • I have applied for a position in the mine and all documents from my cluster of Ramokokastad were signed even by the chief himself. I passed all the tests hot and cold step ups (mchonkolo), medical check up and since last year July 2012 i have been waiting to be called for training centre. There have been many promises when i enquired but still no call for me. Some people who went for test and checkups after me have been called and are working. I am still unemployed and looking forward to be called at Tumela, the post i was booked for was DRIVER SCRAP WINCHER. Please help me, i need a job. Thanks
