Smithsonian - Reynolds Center for American Art & Portraiture (Washington, D.C.)

Home of the National Portrait Gallery and the American Art Museum. The building, which was originally the patent office, was built from 1836 to 1867. A glass roof was added to the open courtyard by Foster & Partners in 2007.
