Greenwich Yard (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

Built by the Pennsylvania Railroad, the Greenwich yard is one of the largest classification yards in the city of Philadelphia. It was originally used as an interchange between the PRR and the B&O. It was originally electrified by the PRR, but this came to an end in the 1980s when Conrail discontinued all electric freight service.

The yard is currently used by CSX, Norfolk Southern and Conrail. It is home to the Ameriport Intermodal Facility.
