It is truly a sight to behold.Lord Ayyappa totally immersed in water during the monsoon.I was able to witness this,when I had gone for my vacation in june 2006.

the place is under utter neglet and apathy. the approach to the temple in not maintained and lacks even basic amenities. the temple administration runs it in the style of a typical govt office. no one there is capable of explaining about the temple history.pooja timings are not convenient for people to reach and attend to the poojas.
Wish the temple is managed in a better way.
