  • This is the Eben Pyne estate on I.U Willets and Old Westbury Road which is being subdivided. May be confusing it with the Bostwick Estate on Hillside Avenue near Bacon Rd, which has also been sold.
  • Yes the Pyne's were the last owners of the estate. It was built for Dunbar Bostwick back in 1923. The Estate on Hillside avenue belonged to his brother Albert or better known as A.C Bostwick.
  • I stand corrected - or at least improved upon. Thanks.
  • When was it sold by the Bostwick family?
  • Are you sure about the construction date? Bostwick was 15 in 1923. I believe the house was built in 1933 and sold in 1945.
