Metropol (Cinema) (Chemnitz)

The METROPOL Theater was built in 1912/1913 as a Vaudeville theater . In the nineteen-thirties it was converted in a cinema. 1945 the building suffered during the bombing of the city of Chemnitz strong damage. After the repair the cinema was reopened in 1947.
