The sixteen blocks of flats on Sernanders väg were finished in early 70s, all in the best DDR style. All houses have seven floors and a sauna for the tenants on the eighth, "roof floor". Twelve of the houses (No. 1-12) consist of student corridors where as four of the houses (No. 13-16) are today rented flats.
