An incorporated municipal district, known as a Düüreg, located in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Bayangol is the smallest in area of the nine districts that make up the municipality of Ulan Bator, and comprises 20 micro-districts known as Khoroos. It was previously called October District during the communist era.
Bayangol is the most desely populated district in Ulan Bator, with almost all of it existing within the city core. Most of Ulan Bator's power-production facilities are situated here. It has a population of 160,479.
