A staple of Riverside for many years. A family owned citrus grove, part of our city heritage. Includes a citrus stand where you can stop by and pick up some fresh oranges.
Sadly, Mr. Gless & family are giving up the groves because of high water prices. The city plans to raze the groves and build yet another shopping center.

    All the new houses west toward wood st and south to Lurin ave used to be Gless Ranch orange groves. Just shows how development is eating away at the heritage of Riverside and what the city was founded on. Quite a shame as when the orange trees bloom, it makes for a wonderful fragrant nighttime drive with all the windows down and when the wind blows it's even better.
