Tesco RDC Distribution Centre Weybridge

This distribution centre houses two warehouses 1 for the regional goods and the other is the trunking centre known as the satellite which depots from around the country send down as the aren't delivered directly to weybridge. The DC has been close to closing since 2003 becasue it is deemed to costly and small to keep open. Although no suitable site has been found to replace it, it has been given till the end of 2012/2013 for a new site to be found and open to replace it. They have recently installed two more double decker bays to the trunking centre and are currently installing one on the main rdc building brnging the total dd bays to 5. Reading has now been chosen to replace weybridge and looks like it will be given the ok by reading council and be open for business by late 2012/early 2013
