Watan Soppeng is the capital of Soppeng Regency. It is well know as Kota Kalong or giant bat city. The bats are overhanging the trees over the city. They will leave the trees on the afternoon for food and comeback in the morning. The town also has a spring water in Ompo and a good place for waterplay.
