The Chervenitsa Geological Phenomenon is a rock crown with a length of 250 m and a height of 60 m. It is a monolithic limestone rock, which rises more than 150 m above the river terrace of the Iskar River near the village of Kunino, Vratsa Рegion (43.18877, 24.00839). The site is located at 300 m above sea level. The limestone of the Kaylashka Svita Formation, formed in a shallow epicontinental sea at the end of the Cretaceous period (Late Maastricht), was built 66-68 million years ago.
