X-Swami-X (Los Angeles)

Having established his rep on Telegraph Avenue and Sproul Plaza, Swami-X appeared one day on Venice Beach and by spring of 1969 he had claimed squatter's rights to this particular bench.
For many years there after, Swami could be found here nearly every Sunday afternoon "preaching to the multi-Ludes" from from his parkbench-pulpit.
