The sanctuary of Pyrgi, located near the coast just to the south-east of the town, flourished in the 6th century BC. The sanctuary contains two temples and a smaller sanctuary, labeled respectively A, B, and C from northwest to southeast. Temples A and B were built under Greek architectural and artistic influence, while the sanctuary in Area C is the find spot of the golden tablets of Pyrgi.
