ಹೊಂಡ Fresh Water Lake

ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಿಂದ ಮಳೆನೀರು ಬಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಗರಸಭೆಯವರು ಕಾಲುವೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕ್ರೂಡೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Rainwater from nearby mountains collects here, mainly through man-made channels. This is one of the main fresh water sources for the entire town.
