This cute little town is perhaps the best among three hill station in Nilgiris
The climate is moderate and the nature is not much exploited.Near here Mr.Sullivan,the collector of Coimbatore bulilt his residence in early 1820s which was the the first building constructed by an European in Nilgiris.Tea and orange is the main crop.Do pay a visit to this place and also have an excursion to the Kodanad view point from where you'll have birds eye view of the plains, the meandering Moyar river, the Bhavani dam and the Eastern ghats.
