Sneffels Range

A range of mountains within the San Juans in Southwestern Colorado. Located between the cities of Ridgway to the North, Ouray to the East, and Telluride to the West, the Range is anchored by Mount Sneffels (14,150 ft.) in the center. The area is protected as Mount Sneffels Wilderness.

  • I edited the place because to my knowledge it is NOT called Dallas Divide. Dallas Divide is just the name of the mountain pass on CO-62. Wikipedia agrees with me :)
  • Named after the Snaefel, a volcano in Iceland.
  • Agree with mohairbear above. Dallas Divide appears to be the name of the pass, not the range.
