Standing at the entrance to Dromana House, commissioned in 1825 as a papier maché celebration of Henry Villiers-Stuart’s marriage to Thersia Pauline Ott. The building was inspired by John Nash’s famous Pavilion in Brighton, where the couple had spent their honeymoon. They liked it so much that they had the gate rebuilt in stone. The architect was Martin Day.
