Located on the shores of the Rock River. Part of the Winnebago County Forest Preserve District, Hononegah is the District's oldest preserve and one of its most popular. This picturesque preserve along the Rock River offers three shelterhouses, two ball fields, a soccer field, and a boat ramp. Also available are an adjoining bike path, 2 miles of hiking trails and a campground.
