The library has collection of rare books and periodicals. It is also the venue of the Oldest and biggest Durga Puja which was started by local bengalis at Bengali Mohalla way back in twenties. In sixties a club under the name and style of Tarun Sangha was started by local youths for playing various indoor games. A place one must visit during Puja festivals.

  • I was associated with Puja Samiti and Library and was Secretary of Puja Samiti in the year 1979-80. In fact I was the first who first started Souvenir during Durga Puja. We enjoyed a lot and actively took part in all activities including Natak and indoor games etc. T. Bhattacharya, Panchkula ( bhattacharyat@yahoo.co.in) 29/08/2013
