Founded in the early 1900s by Father James Quinn, this Catholic parish continues to thrive today. It is most famous for the massive mural of the Resurrection of Jesus in the sanctuary. Former Bishop Wuerl taped his Easter edition of his television program at this church every year until his reassignment to Washington D.C. The parish holds a week-long fair every year around the 4th of July (although it is being cut to four days starting next year).
