Chinquapin junction is the intersection of the Glacier Point Road and the Wawona Road. The Wawona Road is the continuation of California State Route 41 from Fresno. It begins at the South entrance of Yosemite National Park. Glacier Point Road begins at the Chinquapin junction and ends at Glacier Point. Five miles from Chinquapin on Glacier Point Road is Badger Pass Ski Area. There is a rest stop at this junction providing picnic tables and restroom. A ranger station is also located here. One mile from this intersection is the entrance to Yosemite West.
