Two buildings of interest here: 1. Essex Lodge - a building which dated back to tudor times and is now a doctor surgery. 2. The West Ham Corporation Tramway electricity department building. On the opposite side of the road is Greengate House - the former YMCA/East London Uni building which was bought by the LDA. The wonderful fascia is to be preserved with modern apartments at the rear.
