On the top of the hill a natural cave had once a SriKoil. Jain munis' stone beds are seen now.Srikoil's loose brick was taken to the Government Museum,Vellore and kept.West of this cave on a cliff Nrupathunga Pallava's inscription is seen.It says that a SriSulakalamakal of Bangalanadu gave donation to the temple.North of the cave over natural small water pond white ocher paintings of animals are excellent.Because of this heritage importance stone quarrying in the hill may be immediately stopped to save our ancient records.-M.GANDHI
