Originally named Prudential, it was redubbed One Prudential Plaza in 1990 when the adjacent tower was built. Originally constructed in 1955, it was the first new office building in Chicago since 1934 and was the city's tallest until the John Hancock Building was completed in 1969.
Current tenants include 101.9FM, The Mix and Peoples Energy Company.
