place with historical importance, region
Beohar Bagh, originally known as "Garden of Beohars" and subsequently "Beohar-Grove", was laid by the Beohar-dynasty in what used to be a 50-acre sprawling estate around the historic Beohar-House (now opposite a Petrol Station). Since c. 1895, Rajman-Rajeshri Beohar Raghuvir Simha, the last Jagirdar of Jubbulpore, used Beohar-House as his Guest-House as well as Summer-Resort. Many dignitaries, luminaries, artists, literati, activists, leaders and educationists have visited Beohar-House.
