Oxford Circus (London)

United Kingdom / England / London / A40 Oxford Street
 road junction  Add category

Oxford Circus is a plaza at a busy London intersection of Regent Street and Oxford Street, two of London's major shopping streets. It is served by Oxford Circus tube station, which is directly beneath the junction itself.

It is one of the busiest parts of Oxford Street with many flagship stores of UK chains and some successful independent shops also having shops here. The actual junction is a circular area around a crossroads, not a roundabout. Shops include Nike Town, H&M, Topshop/Topman, United Colors of Benetton, Shellys, Miss Selfridge, John Lewis and Debenhams. A well-known street preacher, Phillip Howard, often preaches around here.
