There are two very nice venues in Hokutopia, a large business and cultural festival venue, and they both stage classical music concerts. The larger one, the Sakura Hall, seats 1,300 and features mainly orchestral and choral music, while the smaller one, with seating for 402, features small ensembles or recitals. The Hokutopia International Music Festival takes place in November each year and is highly regarded among classical music enthusiasts. There is a coffee shop and a fully licensed restaurant in the building.
