Rt.Rev.Msgr.Reynold's Purackal,
the 'divyakarunya prekshithan' was born on December 28 1910 at chethy. The entire fifty golden years of his priesthood have been within the four walls of St.Antony's Orphanage Alappuzha,blossoming the lives of hundres of boys who today occupy places of importance in the five continents of the world, begining with the highest Indian official in the Vatican to officers with embassies and consulates in the cities around the globe, counting among them a bishop and about fifty priests. Msgr.Reynolds was a priestly priest who radiated Christ in every action of his. As bishop Fernandez of Quilon remarked in the funeral eulogy:"Monsignor Reynolds who in his life time was thought by many as saint will now be a saint even more powerful".
