NEXT STEP provides: Pre-screened, job-ready candidates

-Places veterans with major employers in public and private sectors
-Offers vocational assessment and career guidance, on-site computer literacy training, support with occupational training, and accredited College classes teaching job-seeking skills and strategies
-Provides a state of the art resource room equipped with: computer and Internet acces, phones, fax, computerized career programs, job listings and educational and training information
-Operates transitional homes for employed veterans
-Serves hundreds of veterans each month
-Assists in job placement, job referrals, resume writing, and copying
-Arranges for provision of supported employment
-Maintains close links with Federal, State, County and private social service agencies
