"Trivale" Monastery (Piteşti)

It is situated in Trivale Park and it was build between 1677 and 1688 by Varlaam, the Bishop of Wallachia on the ruins of another hermitage.
As the tradition says, here was the head of Mihai The Brave before it was taken to Dealu Monastery.
The church painting dates from 1731 and was restored in 1904
