Arges Heroes Gate is a monument located at the entrance to the former barracks of the no. 4 Regiment Arges. The inauguration took place on 28 September 1926.
The Gate, in shape of a simple arc supported by massive pillars, praises the spirit of sacrifice of the locals in WWI.
On the frontispiece are the following inscriptions: "No 4 Arges Regiment. Gate of Heroes 1916-1918", "Dead to the country, for glory and flag."
On the pillars are listed the locations and areas where Arges infantry regiments fought in the years 1916 - 1917 (Bran, Dragoslavele, Marasti), and the names of hundreds of Arges soldiers killed in the campaigns during 1877-1878, 1916-1917.
