Lumban is a municipality in the province of Laguna in the Philippines. It had a population of 29,470 people as registered in the 2010 Census.

Lumban has an area of 96.8 square kilometers, the fourth largest in Laguna. The town is the home of the famous Lake Caliraya, a man-made lake often visited by nature lovers and sports-minded people.

People are hard working and matatapang. San Sebastian Church is one of the oldest catholic parish in the province. Present town of Pagsanjan, Paete and provincial capital Santa Cruz was formerly part of this town during the early 19th century.
