Bakersfield Racquet Club is located at 1660 Pine Street, between Truxtun Avenue and 18th Street. Eleven lighted hard tennis courts, two fenced backboards, two swimming pools, a fitness center, sit down food and drink, and a Pro and Sports Shop.

Locally born tennis star Dennis Ralston was instrumental in getting Bakersfield to host the semi-finals of the 1965 Davis Cup] between the US and Canada at the Bakersfield Racquet Club.
