The Dimond District is working-class neighborhood in Oakland, California. It is situated at the base of the Oakland hills where there is a great mix of both poverty and affluence. The district is home to Dimond Park, a large natural park base around a stream. The Main corridors of the Dimond District are MacArthur Blvd, Fruitvale, and is bordered by highway 580. Unlike other flatland neighborhoods in Oakland, the crime rate in the Dimond District is moderate.
