South Deerfield Town Common

This is the Village of South Deerfield town common. It has a cast iron fountain that runs all year. In the wintertime, the water spray
freezes into into beautiful shapes. In warmer months, parents bring young kids here to play, and teenagers hang around on the
benches after school. The common also contains commemorative markers listing those who served in foreign wars, and
commemorative ceremonies are held here on Veterans Day, Independence Day and Memorial Day.
