Higher Secondary School at Khayerpur named Palli Mangal School. The school was established in the year 1950 by some educationist named Kalipada Kar Nagendra Dhar, Mukunda Das, Pramod Kar,Dinesh Chandra Deb, Surendra Chandra Basak, Sukesh Som and many others. Land was donated by Umesh Das.

  • This school might not be the best in Tripura but the teachers of the school really shaped my career well.All thanks to them and to all my friends because they have given me many fond memories.Thats all folks.
  • Palli Mangal is a unique school set up by the efforts of local populace specially a big role played by Dutta Bari though I forgot their names,Nagendra Dar, Mukunda Das, Pramod Kar,Dinesh Chandra Deb, Surendra Chandra Basak, Kalipada Kar, Sukesh Som and many othres contributed their efforts for settingup a school in this vicinity. I my self proud to be a student of this school since my childhood,I dont know the current academic position of the school, but it was a very uprising during our time, it has given experts in various fields. Our teachers like Rebati babu, Helen Dasgupta, Pradip Agarwala, Nandan Chakraborty, and many others were really dedicated for the students, they used to organised special classed for the students of class IX and X. What ever we are today because of the grace and contribution of the school which founded by our forefathers. later it was taken by Government of Tripura.
