A new residential area is being built on the site of natural stone company De Weijs in Wildervank: De Weijzen. De Weijzen consists of various types of homes with the same appearance. The architecture is inspired by the former office building at the marina. The triangular shapes are abstractly reflected in a graphic play of white accents, Groningen red-orange bricks and matching window frames. New construction project De Weijzen consists of 13 terraced houses, 8 life-cycle-proof homes and 4 semi-detached homes.
