Cooperation with Wings Corporation, one of the biggest players in Indonesian market for the same products, Lion corporation formed PT Lionindojaya in 1981. Since then, Lionindojaya has steadily strengthened its manufacturing capacity and marketing efforts to meet demand.

Due to the changing of the composition of shareholder, effective per early of the year 2004, PT Lionindojaya changed its name to be PT Lion Wings.
