  • JAWHAR State history starts from elarly 1300 A.D. The first King of Jawhar - The Mukne Dynasty was H.H. Maharaj Jayabarao Mukne. The first coronation ceremony of the Jawhar Gadi was held in 6th June 1348. It was well known as Tribal Kingdom. Jawhar has its importants since Mohmed Khilji and even keeps great important at the time of Raja Chatrapati Shivaji Bhosle. The 19th & the last Kind of Jawhar (Mukne Dynasty) was H.H.Flt.Lt.Shrimant Yeshwantrao (RajaSaheb) Mukne. He was the first MP from Dahanu Constituency at the time of 1st Lok Sabha after Independance. He studed his college in Rajkumar College at Rajkot, which was the school and college started by britishers only for the pupils from Indian Royal Familes. He later joined Royal Indian Air Force to serve British Queen in 2nd World War. He was awarded with Royal Crown and RIAF Medal. Since he was known as Flight Leutinent of Royal Indian Air Force.   • I love Jawhar. My mother Kusum Ganesha Lotlikar after marraige Kusum Chintamani Sane was born in Jawhar in 1930 and she studied in Radha Vidyalaya upto vernacular Final. She donated her body after her death in 2005 to Rajiv Ghandhi Medical College,Kalava, Thane for study as well as research and development in Medical Science.
