McWay Falls in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is not very big but it's probably one of the most photographed waterfalls on the west coast. At high tide it falls about 45 feet directly into the Pacific Ocean. There is another, smaller, cascade / waterfall on McWay Creek a short distance upstream from the parking lot.
Each of the two falls, as photographed by Henry Wagner.
