Unicoa Gap, elevation 2949 feet, is on the Appalachian Trail. It is the highest point on Hwy 75 between Helen, GA and Hiawassee, GA. It is located within White County, GA.
Part of the Tennessee Valley divide. Waters to the north flow into the Tennessee River system, eventually finding the Gulf of Mexico at New Orleans. Waters on the south slope flow into the Chattahoochee River system and on into the gulf near Apalachicola, Florida.
